    Hi,

    MY labor says that the candidate needs atleast 1 year exp as a Software Engineer. Your labor says at least 1 year exp
    But my experience letter says that I have 2 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer. You have 2 years exp. then you are good to go :-)

    Would that be ok ? (Actually I was a software engg before and got promoted to Senior Software Eng later.)

    Thank you very much for the info. I've always loved photography just never found the time to learn all these things. Seems like I am making up for lost time now. I might keep the 28-80 since it came with my Rebel 2000 and I got it for my bar mitzvah. I wish I didn't though, since I would probably sell everything. I might just sell the 100-300 and get the D70. I guess I could get the 300d, but it looks like my rebel and doesn't look as nice as the D70. Who knows, I am going to a couple of camera shops to fool around with them to make my mind up. Thanks for the information.

    It looks like we just missed a great opportunity to post a legal immigration question on change.gov. The goods news is that they will roll this out next week. So if you want to submit a question, be ready!...I will be sure to bump this thread..

    AILA praises decision by Attorney General to withdraw Matter of Compean.

    WASHINGTON, DC*� The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) welcomes the restoration of due process in the Immigration Court system. Attorney General Eric Holder today withdrew the decision issued by former Attorney General Mukasey on the last day of the Bush Administration, which had eviscerated the right to effective representation in Immigration Court proceedings. Attorney General Holder had stated during his confirmation process that he would review the Mukasey decision and that he disagreed with its reasoning. AILA is grateful for this restoration of a basic constitutional process�Due Process, in the immigration court system.

    AILA commends Attorney General Holder for living up to his word, and for his clarity of understanding of not only the constitutional principle of due process, but also for the boldness with which he acted today. �The restoration of the prior standard for claiming ineffective representation in immigration court proceedings is a welcome sign that the Obama administration understands that the rights that apply to the least of us, apply to all of us,� said Charles H.     I think you can safely sponser visitors visa while you are on H1B. What do you mean by working at clients place? is that place listed on your H1B application. Many times Attorney list any other state as required. I remember my attorney doing this. But still, I don't think it should matter, at the same time, I am not an attorney.

    Hello,
    I am from India. My employer had applied for PERM EB2 labor while my old EB3 labor was still pending. My EB3 labor, with priority date of MAR 2005, was approved before July fiasco and I was able to apply for 485/EAD/AP/etc.

    Last August (2007), my PERM labor was approved too; I had the chance to file a new I140 and request interfiling with my existing 485 application. But my lawyer suggested me not file a new I140 and we let the approved EB2 labor expire.

    Now, I am having second thoughts, as I did then. Is there any way I can use the old expired labor (> 180 days after approval). I know I cannot use it directly to file I140, but are there any ancillary benefits of having an approved, albeit expired labor? I am thinking of either checking with my employer if they can file a new EB2 PERM labor if I qualify, or switching my jobs.

    my 485 was filed abt 1.5 years back. 140 has been approved for more than 8 months too.
    So now if I want to change my job
    Using EAD , I know that job duties have to be similar.

    How about on H1b transfer? Does the job duties similar requirement hold good?
    Also anyone changing job on H1b , if ex-employer withdraws I-140, what kind of RFE does it generate?

    I mailed my first EAD application in the last week of Dec/09.
    Never thought it would take so long for receipting, and worried something wrong in my application..
    Good to see others ...
    Will wait further then..
    Next time will go online..although it requires a trip to local office for biometrics

    Does your RFE for paystubs have any time-bound constraint on it? Meaning, do you have to respond within certain period of time, or can you take indefinite time in responding.

    The reason I am asking is because there can be different solutions for these two different scenarios.
